With a long-term vision for significant growth, TGR Foundation, A Tiger Woods Charity, recently expanded its executive leadership team welcoming Janine Ingram, Vice President of Donor Partnerships. Ingram joins the foundation with more than 25 years of business development and donor relations experience in the nonprofit sector and has raised more than $88 million throughout her career.
“We were looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead our new efforts to expand our presence in the donor community and we were so fortunate to find Janine,” said Rick Singer, foundation President & CEO.
In her most recent role as the Vice President of Social Impact Partnerships at MIND Research Institute, Ingram built creative and effective partnerships and raised more than $30 million in revenue. Leading the foundation’s development efforts and placing a strong emphasis on major gifts, Ingram will build a robust fundraising program including a strategic, comprehensive development plan and cultivate a team to reach TGR Foundation goals.
“I am excited for the opportunity to significantly impact TGR Foundation’s 5-year strategic plan,” said Ingram. “To scale engaging, effective STEM and college-access programs to millions of students and educators nationwide is a gamechanger. I’m eager to identify partners who share our commitment to education and opportunity equity, and who demand the same high-quality programming as the TGRF team.”
Throughout her career, Ingram has participated in global initiatives, created high-visibility youth education and employee engagement events and represented organizations as a requested speaker at various conferences and programs among sports, entertainment and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) industry partners. Prior to her tenure at MIND Research Institute, Ingram acted as principal of her national consulting firm specializing in capacity building and increasing annual revenue goals for local, state and national clients.
“Janine’s experience in donor cultivation and STEM were a perfect match for our needs and goals,” added Singer.
An Orange County, California native, Ingram was a two-sport college athlete, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine and a master’s degree in education and developmental psychology from the University of Maryland. She is also a graduate of Georgetown University’s prestigious New Strategies Program in the McDonough School of Business.
“As a former college athlete, the competitor in me is honored to help a sports legend fulfill his mission of empowering students to pursue their passions through education,” said Ingram.
TGR Foundation is looking forward to a future of sustainable philanthropy, growth and impact. With Ingram’s education and experience, she will strengthen the culture of philanthropy and increase financial support for our programs empowering students through education.
