Go to TGR EDU: EXPLORE for digital lessons

With the recent launch of four new lesson plans, in addition to a professional development training video and an archived webinar focusing on project-based learning and 21st century skills, TGR EDU: Explore is rapidly expanding its library of transformative content for teachers, students and families in the areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and college-access.

A project that has been in the works – and which is now live on the site – was to update the curriculum page to house this additional content, while also considering resources that will be launching later this year and beyond. The new layout makes it easier and more intuitive for educators to quickly access the resources they need, when they need it. No longer is TGR EDU: Explore content on separate pages, requiring users to click around multiple times to find what they seek; instead, the new curriculum page houses every resource – lessons, digital modules, digital presentations, training videos and webinars – on one easy-to-navigate page. Content can be quickly filtered by topic, type and grade band, too.

Curriculum page on TGR EDU:Explore

With over 20 free resources – and counting – in STEM and college-access currently available on TGR EDU: Explore that focus on project-based and inquiry-based learning strategies, real-world connections and authentic development of vital 21st century skills (communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking), now is the time to experience this content for yourself, and to see how it can positively impact students in your classroom and across the country.

TGR Foundation remains committed to providing students the right resources for lifelong success in school, their communities and the working world. And through TGR EDU: Explore, a partnership with Discovery Education, TGR Foundation is digitizing our award-winning STEM curricula and college-access programs, making these resources freely available to communities from coast to coast.
