Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Tida Woods
TGR Foundation is saddened by the loss of Kultida “Tida” Woods on February 4, 2025. A proud mother, grandmother and member of our board of governors, Tida left a profound impact on TGR Foundation and our world. Tida believed in the power of education and was passionate about providing opportunities for children of all ages from under-resourced communities. Her life and legacy will continue to light our mission to empower youth to pursue their passions through education. In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions can be made in her honor.

From a young age, Tiger’s parents instilled two important principles to live by, the importance of “sharing and caring” and the power of education.
More than a legacy, sharing and caring is a mindset of paying it forward to make a difference in a young person’s life every day.
Education, which came first in Tiger’s upbringing is at the core of our mission and central to how our programs make an impact.

Following the generous donations that celebrated Earl Woods life and his work to impact the lives of young people, Tiger launched the Earl Woods Scholar Program to honor the life and legacy of his father. This award-winning program serves primarily first generation college students, providing them with comprehensive support to and through college in pursuit of their dreams.
