Through its partnership with Lincoln Financial, TGR Foundation brings real-world money management to life through engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.

What students explore:

  • Budgeting and saving
  • Credit and debt
  • Entrepreneurship and investing
  • Consumer protection and emergency preparedness

How students participate:

The curriculum is designed for delivery through TGR Learning Lab field trips, after-school programs, clubs, studios and summer camps, with experiences adapted for different age groups. Offerings vary by location and session.

Bold Starts launched in Philadelphia

In fall 2026, TGR Foundation launched the inaugural set of Bold Starts programming to local students at the Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab in Philadelphia. Through TGR Foundation’s AI curriculum partnership with Comcast, students build foundational AI literacy through hands-on experiences that make artificial intelligence easier to understand. They explore how prompts shape responses, how AI recognizes patterns and how to evaluate the reliability of AI-generated content while using these tools responsibly.

Students apply these skills to challenges in healthcare, entrepreneurship, marketing and other fields, using AI to analyze information, develop solutions and create real-world projects.

  • Build foundations: Explore prompts, patterns, reliability and responsible use.
  • Apply skills: Use AI to explore challenges across industries.
  • Create a capstone: Identify a school or community challenge and use AI agents to support research, ideation and problem-solving.

The goal is to help students become ethical innovators who use AI to address meaningful issues in their communities.
