STEM STUDIO

Educator Professional LEARNING Supported by DoD STEM

Imagine a place where creativity and innovation are paramount. Where teachers take on the role of students, delving into hands-on, inquiry-based STEM activities. This is STEM Studio: a multi-day and multi-level, immersive professional learning series for all educators to learn how to create active student-centered environments using proven inquiry practices.

Both in-person and virtual sessions are offered. In-person sessions are available at:

St. Bernard’s High School, 9100 Falmouth Ave, Playa Del Ray, CA

STEM Studio is valued up to $400 and offered at no cost to educators with support from DoD STEM. Space is limited.

Micro-Credentials and Certification

Educators will have the opportunity to receive a micro-credential for each STEM Studio workshop they attend. Additionally, by participating in a STEM Studio workshop, educators will receive a certificate from TGR Foundation for 12 hours of professional learning credit. STEM Studio is approved for 12 LAUSD workshop hours toward salary point credit.
