Joining a global day of generosity on Giving Tuesday, November 30, 2021, TGR Foundation seeks support for its education programs in 2022 and beyond.
Now, more than ever, quality education and career readiness are critical for student success. To meet the increasing challenges students, educators and families face, the foundation is expanding existing partnerships to continue providing free education programs, resources and support.
After celebrating its 25th Anniversary on November 18, the foundation plans to build on its impact through more opportunities for youth including:
- In-person and virtual STEM, college and career prep programs
- Job shadowing, internships and certification programs, and
- Individualized pathways and support based on student passions and career aspirations
These will be key areas of growth in the years to come and the foundation’s Giving Tuesday campaign invites supporters to work together for youth to raise funds and build support for its programs year-round.
“Our programs prepare students to thrive in school, college and their careers,” said Gordon McNeill, President & CEO. “With new and existing partnerships, we will be able to help students pursue and reach their dreams. Giving Tuesday is a great time to get involved.”
Created in 2012 to encourage people to do good, Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement driving people around the world to show gratitude, provide support, show kindness and share what they have with those in need.
Recent data shows that people are highly motivated to give in 2021, and are giving more in response to needs in their communities and causes they care about. There are many ways to get involved and everyone can join the movement.
