The Deutsche Bank Championship does more than just host the PGA TOUR’s top 100 players of the season.
Did you know the Deutsche Bank Championship, New England’s Labor Day golf special, has generated more than $25 million for the Tiger Woods Foundation since 2003?
For the 12th time, TPC Boston will host this late August event, where the top 100 in the FedExCup rankings will battle one another and the challenging New England terrain in the second leg of the FedExCup Playoffs.
But the best part of the Deutsche Bank Championship is that top-notch golf isn’t the beginning — or end — of why this is such a premier event. On top of showcasing the highest quality of golf and offering a myriad of entertainment outlets for partners, sponsors and spectators alike, the championship sends proceeds to its main beneficiary, the Tiger Woods Foundation, in order to provide college-access programs to students who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity or the resources to attend school.
