For another year, tens of thousands of spectators filed into Norton, Massachusetts, to witness the top 100 PGA TOUR players compete in the second leg of the FedExCup Playoffs. As always, the championship brought with it the thrill of professional golf. 

With tremendous play over the course of the weekend, Steve Stricker was able to come away with the victory and hoist the coveted Wedgwood trophy. With his victory at the DBC, Stricker took the lead for FedEx Cup Playoffs points, and came away ranked No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

When asked about his success Stricker commented, “You know, it’s a nice honor to be up there. Good play takes care of a lot of things, and that’s what I’m focused on is just to play good.” 

Ultimately, Tiger Woods would go on to win the FedEx Cup Playoffs for the second time in a three-year period.
