From a young age, my parents taught me two important values including the power of education and the ability to make a difference by sharing and caring. That is why my dad and I created TGR Foundation in 1996 and remain committed to our mission at TGR Foundation to empower students to pursue their passions through education.
These values hold true today and are the cornerstone of our work. We believe in the power of education and have seen it make a positive impact in our students lives. Through our education-based programs and TGR Learning Labs, we provide the access, support and resources they need to see their potential and chase after their dreams.
We can’t do it alone. Thanks to your support and contributions, we are expanding our reach to serve more students from under-resourced communities. Your support is helping us carry on my family’s legacy by making a positive impact on a student’s life, every single day.
Thank you for joining us to empower students through education.

TGR Learning Labs empower students to learn and grow by providing STEAM-based courses for FREE. The programs promote self-discovery, spark new passions and ignite dreams for their future.
The TGR Learning Lab has helped me try new things, especially being in a safe space where I wasn’t afraid to fail at something or learn how to get better at something. I am so thankful for all the amazing teachers and mentors I’ve had and all the amazing courses I’ve been able to take.”
Through a variety of impactful educator professional development programs, we provide workshops and resources that help educators engage their students in STEM education. The impact extends far beyond each individual teacher, expanding our reach by preparing more students for success in the classroom and beyond.

My relationship with TGR Foundation began when I started working in the Anaheim Union High School District. I’m also grateful for the opportunity that they gave me to be a DoD STEM ambassador and to have a whole new network. I’m also grateful for the opportunity that they gave me to be a DoD STEM ambassador and to have a whole new network. Without TGR Foundation, there would be a lot less connection made between teachers and a lot less professional development opportunities.
We facilitated the U.S. Department of Defense STEM Ambassador program, an intensive year-long professional development program that prepares educators with skills to be STEM-power leaders in their schools and industry.
This program is such a great opportunity for these students, but I think we at Providence gain even more by serving as mentors to such bright and eager minds to the possibilities. At Providence, we’re committed to partnering in our communities to advance health and wellness while engaging the under-served in building healthier communities from within.

As an extension of the impact made through TGR Live and The Genesis Invitational, Genesis Gives, a coporate social responsibility initiative from Genesis Motor North America, and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation both partner with the TGR Learning Lab Anaheim to deliver meaningful career connected learning experiences. In 2024, students enjoyed a visit to the Genesis Design Studio in addition to participating in the Genesis STEM Experience at the Learning Lab.
For students whose career aspirations require higher education, we provide robust college readiness programs. The various offerings expand our reach, empowering more students to navigate the process to and through college.

The Earl Woods Scholar Program continues to empower students from under-resourced communities to reach higher. The award-winning program supports students with demonstrated need and a commitment to community service beginning in high school and lasting throughout the collegiate journey.
We are proud to honor the legacy of Earl Woods and expand this impactful program to Philadelphia. In 2024, we celebrated the inaugural cohort of Scholars from Philadelphia and supported them in their transition to college life.
Growing up, I lived really close to the TGR Learning Lab and it was part of what sparked my passion for computer science. I was also able to become an Earl Woods Scholar and those two factors combined really shaped the trajectory of my life.”
The health and well-being of a young person is critical to their success in school and life. To meet the needs of our students and community, we integrate health and well-being into our programs, ensuring they are healthy and ready to learn. Additionally, the TGR Learning Labs offer comprehensive support and athletic opportunities, which improves confidence and self-advocacy while bolstering the mental and physical well-being of our students.
At the core of holistic support is our dedicated and caring team of program leadership and TGR Learning Lab educators. Their passion to care for each student leads to meaningful relationships, empowering their growth.
The The TGR Learning Lab became my second home, where I felt like I could really be myself. I was supported and felt the teachers cared about me. I realized how important that was for me, and I now try to build those same bonds with the students I work with today.”
Working alongside our team is a network of adults who guide and support our students through mentorship and professional guidance. Volunteers are integrated in multiple touchpoints throughout our career and college readiness programs. Our students our able to prepare for their future through access to industry professionals and real-world learning experiences such as career panels, interview prep, job shadowing, networking and more. Every Earl Woods Scholar is paired with a dedicated mentor during their time in the program as well.
Being a mentor and being able to facilitate workshops is incredibly amazing. My entire experience with TGR Foundation so fills my heart. It’s given me so much passion. I care about these scholars as human beings, and it means the world to me to be able to participate. I’m so proud to be an Earl Woods Scholar mentor.

During the 2024 Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club, our TGR Learning Lab members and Earl Woods Scholars experienced the event in unique ways. From being starters on the tee, to experiencing a youth golf exhibition, the tournament provided access to the game and learning opportunities. Select students went behind the scenes gaining invaluable career-connected learning experiences, including job shadowing with Golf Channel’s Kira Dixon, a tour of the media center, an inside look at the broadcast compound and being an honorary member of the media on championship Sunday.
Attending The Genesis Invitational was a time of opportunity. I was able to tour the media center, network with journalists and content creators and even interview the 2024 champion. I’m very thankful to represent the programs TGR Foundation has to offer.”

Temiloluwa “Emmanuel” Oluwasesin found a second home and a community through the TGR Learning Lab Anaheim after immigrating to America from Nigeria at age 11. As he navigated a new life and explored possibilities, the Learning Lab was a safe place for him to gain confidence in his identity, build skills and pursue his passion for computers.
“Since I came to the United States, I wasn’t exactly sure where I fit in the entire spectrum,” he said. “I felt like the parts that I brought from Nigeria were flaws within me that I needed to change.”
Through afterschool classes at the Learning Lab, Emmanuel learned how to code and discovered a path to a career in engineering. In addition to coding skills, he developed relationships with educators who would later become mentors.
He is currently a freshman at the University of California, Santa Barbara studying computer science with ongoing support as a member of the Earl Woods Scholar Program.
