Anaheim, CA – TGR Foundation marks 19 years of transformative education at its flagship TGR Learning Lab in Anaheim, celebrating nearly two decades of empowering students through hands-on STEM learning, college-access programs, and career-readiness initiatives. Since opening in 2006, the Anaheim Learning Lab has served over 200,000 students, providing critical academic and professional development resources to youth from under-resourced communities​.

As part of its commitment to expanding educational opportunities, TGR Foundation is proud to announce the expansion of the TGR Learning Lab model to Philadelphia and Los Angeles. These new locations will build upon the organization’s legacy of impact, ensuring more students across the country have access to the skills and support necessary for lifelong success.

Since its inception, the Anaheim TGR Learning Lab has provided students with access to cutting-edge technology, immersive STEM experiences, and mentorship programs designed to prepare them for college and careers. Recent impact data highlights the program’s measurable success:

  • 98% of TGR Scholars graduate college, one of the highest rates among scholarship programs in the U.S.
  • 84% of students feel more informed about future careers, while 77% report learning skills they expect to use in the future​.
  • 82% of students gain opportunities not available in their schools, broadening their career and academic horizons.

The upcoming expansions to Philadelphia and Los Angeles will replicate the Anaheim model’s success, incorporating innovative education methods tailored to each community’s needs. These new sites will provide students with access to high-quality STEM education, financial literacy programs, and career exploration opportunities, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing job market.

For many students, the TGR Learning Lab experience has been life-changing. One participant reflected, “The Learning Lab gave me the confidence to explore my passions and believe in my future.” Another shared, “Without this program, I wouldn’t have discovered my love for engineering.”
