For the second year in a row, the Deutsche Bank Championship welcomed Executive Women’s Day, a powerful event that connects and engages influential women in the Boston area in discussions on professionalism and personal development.

On Day 2 of Championship Week, participants of the second annual Executive Women’s Day gathered for a day of networking, inspiration and a tour of the grounds of TPC Boston. In addition to a full list of distinguished guests, Earl Woods Scholar and Boston College Eagle Shirley Peng was also in attendance.

Networking, activities and panel discussions were centered around the themes of the day: professional and personal development. Led by keynote speaker Dawna Stone — who formerly served in high-level positions at Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, P*R Nutrition and Active Sports Network in addition to winning “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart” and appearing on “The Today Show” — participants benefited from discussion on a range of topics relevant to modern business and professionalism.

But it wasn’t all business. These ladies also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of hotspots on the championship grounds such as the Media Center, Corporate Hospitality and the Merchandise Tent, not to mention a photo op with the illustrious FedExCup trophy. Without a doubt, Executive Women’s Day served to kick-start the energy and excitement of Championship Week!
