As the Deutsche Bank Championship rolled into town, the annual Legends & Friends Pro-Am took place Monday morning. Legendary Boston sports figures were invited to participate, and this year’s field included Troy Brown, Jim Lonborg, Bob Montgomery, Rico Petrocelli, Tim Wakefield, Jerry York and Matt Chatham.

The proceeds from this event benefit the Earl Woods Scholarship Program, which includes 15 first-generation college students from the Boston area. The Earl Woods Scholarship Program provides college scholarships coupled with an unyielding support system from the Tiger Woods Foundation. Through dedicated mentors, professional development workshops, internships and staff support, the one-to-one philosophy ensures 100 percent success for our students in college and beyond.
