The day kicked off with tournament director Mike Antolini sharing a few words about the “can’t-miss event” that is Executive Women’s Day and the Deutsche Bank Championship. He described the event as a “true community vehicle” to local New England businesses. Antolini was followed by Polito, who spoke on the importance of having a “champion” in your life, meaning someone who believes in you and constantly reminds you that, “you can be whatever you want to be.” Polito’s champions, she stated, are her parents.
